Our popular Race Packages are now also open for 2026! Our Triple Package includes an entry in the Carsington 7+ on Sunday 10th May 2026, Wilne 10k on Sunday 6th September 2026 and the Derby 10 Mile on Sunday 15th November 2026. Our Autumn Package includes an entry in the Wilne 10k and Derby 10 Mile 2026.
All Wilne 10k entries have sold out since 2014 so we advise that you enter as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Championship Entries
Derbyshire Athletics 10 Mile Championships
Wilne 10k is delighted to host the Derbyshire Athletics 10k Championships for 2026. Eligibility for entering the Derbyshire Athletics 10k Championships requires club affiliated runners to have been born in the county of Derbyshire or have been resident in the area for at least 9 months or based in the area as a member of H. M. Forces before the date of the Championships.
Gold, silver and bronze medals are awarded to the overall male and female winners and male and female age categories 35+, 45+, 55+, 65+, 75+
The number of medals presented will be dependent upon the number of entries:
up to 3 entries per age category 1 medal (Gold)
4 – 7 entries per age group 2 medals (Gold & Silver)
8+ entries per age group 3 medals (Gold, Silver & Bronze)
Entering the Championships
The option to enter the championships is part of the main race entry system. If you have already entered and decide that you wish to take part, please contact us and we’ll be able to help.
Closing Dates (Individual Wilne 10k only):
- Online Entries for Race Packs to be Posted – Monday 24th August 2026 at 5pm, or when race limit reached.
- No on-the-day entries accepted for the 10k.

Affiliated Runners
The Wilne 10k event is licensed to UK Athletics (UKA) and therefore we offer runners a £2.00 discount who are both members of a UKA affiliated club and who also hold a Unique Runners Number (URN), also known as a competitor license number. If you are an affiliated club runner please make sure your URN is active and valid before entering. Your seven digit number (no letters) is given to you on a plastic card. If you do not have this or experience any problems with your URN, please contact your Club/Membership Secretary or Membership Services on 0121 347 6543.
Transfers
To apply for a Wilne 10k transfer of your race number to a friend or family member, please contact us during the transfer window of 23rd July-6th August 2026 with your name and the name and email address of the new entrant that you wish for your entry to be transferred to. We also need to know whether they are affiliated to a running club so that we can factor in any addition unaffiliated fees if applicable. Transfer requests must be sent by the existing entrant. Transfer requests must only be sent between 23rd July-6th August 2026 during which all transfers will be processed and confirmed by email. The whole transfer process must be completed by 5pm on Thursday 6th August 2026. There is a £3.00 administration fee, plus any additional unaffiliated fees, which are payable online by the transfer deadline. For package entrants wishing to transfer their entries, a £3.00 administration fee is applicable for each entry transfer. New entrants must agree to the terms and conditions before taking the transfer.
